Queensland’s most exciting Art gallery, Seaside Artists Gallery, was established in 2001 by Doug and Rosslyn Kennedy, whose four adult children are artists.
The Gallery was opened primarily to display their work but has expanded to include the works of other talented local artists and they are pleased that the gallery now displays the works of over 60 artists in a variety of mediums including oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolours, mixed mediums, pottery, sculpture, woodwork, jewellery, hand-made cards for all occasions, handcrafts, photography and digital photography.
Seaside Artists Gallery has given newcomers a venue for their works and a show case for established artists with the display changing quarterly.

This is the third premises the Gallery has occupied starting as a small gallery in the Comino’s Arcade in 2001, then moving to a much larger premises in Beach Street, Kippa-Ring – an industrial shed. A good move and a great gallery, but probably a little too ambitious for “Little ol’ Redcliffe”.
Hence the move to Comino’s Arcade, back on the waterfront into the old ballroom where overheads are a lot more affordable - provided we sell the art!
We hope the community will get behind this worthwhile project and support the ever struggling artists by visiting the Gallery and buying original pieces of art for your homes and businesses.
